PROJECT 1
ILLUSTRATED QUOTATION

Tool: Canva
  1. Find a quotation to illustrate from this quotation site.
  2. Find a CC-licensed image to represent your quote and save it to your desktop or Google Drive. Don't forget to copy the URL of the image.
  3. Using  Canva, import the image from your desktop or Google Drive.
  4. Pick a template, import the image, and, using the text tool, put the URL of the image in small type, in the bottom right-hand corner of the image. 
  5. Add your quote in text to the image. Be creative with colors and fonts.
  6. Save the completed image to your desktop or Google Drive and attach the image to an entry on the Padlet page or add the  URL to the completed image to a Padlet note. Don't forget to put your initials!
PROJECT 2
STORY IN SIX PHOTOS

Fotor or Photovisi
  1. Using one of the prompts below, take photos or find CC-licensed images online to tell a story using 6 photos. Save them on your desktop or in Google Drive.
  2. If you use CC-licensed images, use http://bitly.com to shorten the URL and use the text tool to put the URL on the image or the slide with the image. Put the title of your story on the collage.
  3. Save the collage image to your desktop, Google Drive, or Dropbox and add the photo as an attachment to the Padlet page or put the URL of the image in the Padlet note. Put your initials in the note, too!

PROJECT 3
DIGITAL STORY

Tool: Photopeach
  1. You are going to tell a digital story, using only images and text, which will give students some idea about how education has changed or how education will change in the future.
  2. Using Photopeach, create a 6-slide show using Creative Commons images or your own images. Add minimal text captions to the images for explanation. You can add music if you wish.
  3. When you are finished, download the finished file to your desktop or Google Drive. Attach the finished movie to a note on the Padlet page.
